We were a party of six (three couples) for a Saturday wedding at Mount Edgcumbe. The bride and groom had arranged a special late night return ferry for wedding guests, so the Royal William Yard area of Plymouth was a suggestion for places to stay. The Vottage looked ideal – a short walk to the ferry, a short walk to Royal William Yard for a meal out on the Friday night, lovely bedrooms and well fitted out. It lived up to all that, and Owen was the perfect Airbnb Host. All his ‘standard’ messages in advance were clear and helpful; he and his staff at The Vot next door were friendly and welcoming, and made us feel like special guests, very well looked after. There was some confusion over whether there would be five or six of us, so when we arrived the third bedroom was made up as just a single. Owen went out of his way to sort that out for us, and dealt with everything wonderfully. Very highly recommended!
